Are you between the age of 12 and 18? Check out the 'How to Join' page!! Royal Canadian Sea Cadets learn about the naval and maritime environment by participating in a variety of activities on and off the water. Sea Cadets specialize in sailing, seamanship, shipboard life, naval communications, power boat handling, boat repair, and marine engineering. Sea Cadets also participate in ceremonial events and citizenship activities that allow them to connect to their Canadian naval heritage. |

If you are between the age of 9 and 12, visit the 'How to Join' page! Since 1948, the Navy League Cadet program has introduced young Canadians to a nautical life. Navy League Cadets get to do a lot of fun, interesting activities, in an environment that emphasizes teamwork. The Navy League Cadet Program is a great place to make friends and do things you wouldn't get to do anywhere else. |
The Navy League of Canada
The Navy League of Canada is a charitable organization responsible for insuring, governing and fundraising for the Navy League Cadet Corps as well as being responsible for insuring and supplying funds for the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets Corps (along with the department of National Defence).
The objective for the Navy League of Canada is to:
-Promote Citizenship
-Promote Self-discipline
-Promote Physical Fitness
The Navy League is made up of members of the civilian community who are dedicated to the development of youth. The Niagara Branch works directly at the community level with the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps 103 Niagara and the Navy League of Canada Corps 138 Drummond. Supported by parents and other individuals, the members of the Niagara Branch volunteer time and energy to help ensure the success of our corps.
The Navy League of Canada, Ontario Division, Niagara Branch's meetings are the Third Tuesday of the month from Sept to May. You are welcome to come out to see what we are about.
